Our sales teams help our client’s customers realize maximum value from their software purchases by ensuring those customers get the training they need. After more than 15 years of experience, we realized that well-trained customers get up and running faster, are more likely to use the software they purchased and often become advocates of the products they use – All of this makes our clients very happy. Better onboarding, increased usage and stronger advocacy are key contributors to what our industry calls “Customer Success.” Thus, ESG’s sales teams play a critical role in our client’s Customer Success strategy.

We are looking for competitive and motivated Entry-Level Inside Sales Representatives who want to jump start their sales career! You will focus on generating and qualifying new leads via phone and email resulting in new pipeline opportunities for the Inside Sales Representatives. Our most successful Entry-Level Inside Sales Representatives develop strong client relationships and deliver value that exceeds our client’s expectations. You will use a consultative selling approach to build awareness for training classes, certification programs, private events, and self-paced training products.

Responsibilities

Sales Development Representatives will be responsible for managing a combination of inbound Chat and call leads to handle service related questions and generate sales revenue through identification of opportunities.  Additionally, a portion of time will be focused on outbound sales calls to a defined list of contacts to focus on selling public training education and identify leads for private events.

  • Identify and qualify prospects via phone call and email outreach. You will be reaching out to our client’s install base of existing end users to uncover training sales opportunities
  • You will be prospecting our client’s existing end users to uncover training sales opportunities
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders to generate interest and create rapport
  • Maintain an organized pipeline using SalesForce
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators
  • Manage expectations and overcome customer objections
  • Be proactive, driven, and independent, but a strong team player
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into an Inside Sales role

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Reliable and highly organized
  • Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Above average abilities with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Continuous learner that is willing to update their product knowledge on an ongoing basis

The Inside Sales Representatives at ESG focus on increasing training revenue and improving customer satisfaction. Our most successful Inside Sales Representatives develop strong customer relationships and deliver value that exceeds our customer’s expectations. Inside Sales Representatives will use a consultative selling approach to build awareness for software training classes, certification programs, private events, and self-paced training products.

Responsibilities

  • Sell training courses to end user businesses
  • Help end users to self-select the appropriate courses
  • Build training plans based on client’s needs
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections
  • Be a proactive, driven, and independent, but also a strong team player
  • Phone and email communication with IT professionals regarding:
    • Class schedules and availability
    • Certification programs
    • Course content and learning objectives
    • Registration and cancellation policies
    • Payment options
    • Other related topics

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Reliable and highly organized
  • Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Above average abilities with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Salesforce
  • Continuous learner that is willing to update their product knowledge on an ongoing basis
